Not much going on at the moment, just tidying up and servicing the CL, getting the Nickel Triumph ready for it's engine rebirth, waiting on new hard chrome on the 550 cafe's stanchions and a lot of garage based drinking, so here's some random drunken garage shots.......it's all I got today.

Exhaust Fabricators......
Anyone know someone not too far from Northampton who can make a simple but killer set of stainless exhausts for my Cl?
Seems to get more difficult each year to find people to do the fabrication I can't.
Any help - please email me.
Cheers

Kim Boyle
Like all that see Kim Boyles work, I get lost in the beauty and detail of his builds - His latest Norton Caff is no exception.
I wish I possessed such skills.

Bishops Pathracers
Been a bit of a departure from motorcycles recently, the two triumphs are off the road this weekend and the scrambler has only been used to run errands, I have however become bicycle obsessed again and these pathracers built by Bishops in nz are bloody lovely!

Not too long back I posted a pic of a friend of a friends J.A.P.V8 engined roadster (4 JAP V twins on a common crank)

Vintique's Back
Vintique Cycles are back - any shop that's has Boneshaker Benny's involvement get my vote - if you want some cool parts then get yourself over to the Vintique site
Possibly for sale
My Bonneville chop - Sound, Fast, Reliable - alot of work has gone into this by myself and Barnsly Shaun - top ride!
Don't wanna sell, but tempting offers invited, will come to a decision soon i'm sure - email me on retrogrademechanica@gmail.com
I want to build a Triumph street tracker/scrambler so PX's also entertained.
Will take some proper pics later

A Blunter Sharp End
We scored a complete (but rusted) early CB450 K1 front end for the '77 CB550 Project, Drum's are infinitely cooler than the clunky disc/calliper front end.
Got the polishing Rags out and started on the sliders and Top Yoke, need to get the stanchions hard chromed, then just bushes, shoes and a whole lot more elbow grease. It even fitted straight in.

New Project
Had this old Honda ('77 550 four) kicking about in the Basement for a few years after picking it up for pennies - actually was in profit after selling off the gubbins from it.
Eventually my friend Nick rebuild the Engine and we chopped off the rotten rear end and made up a new one......and then it sat for another year during which time Nick took ownership of the bike with the intention of us building a cafe racer together ready for next summer.
Last night it got dug out, and enthusiasm is raging to do something with it.....watch this space!
Only thing is I need a bigger Garage!
