Got me a Villiers engine, a rare as rockin' horse shit original Mk1 Avon speedmaster 3.50x19 NOS, like new, and got Danny a CB350 tank.
Show room was a bit too crowded for my temperament so mostly pics from the jumble...

She's on the road.....

Got the Nickel bike MOT'd today, taken off SORN and she's back on the road!

Still some fettling with the clutch and timing to do, plus some heavier weight oil in those lowered forks - but on the whole a big success!

Forgot how much I love this bike.

Big thanks to the guys at CMC in Northampton for the MOT - who always fit me in at short notice, and provide a good chat on old triumphs.

Fifty Years of Kicks - Motorcycle Documentary

Got this from my good mate Tom's site (shedmade cycles), fantastic and properly inspiring, I don't care if you like riding dirt or not, it's a lovely life assuring short film, and the two guys seriously rock - I hope I'm half the man when (if) I make it to my 70's!

More 2 Stroke Bobber Madness

I'm still obsessing over old smokers - Bantams, Excelsiors, James' whatever as long as they're old and cool - Love this, apparently built by Zero Engineering but can't find anything more - if you've any details send em over.

Also after a smoker project - prefer an excelsior or James but anything rigid with girders would be awesome - if you've got anything get in touch!

She Fired.....

Nearly there....just a bit more work on the timing side of things, and cleaning of carb and petcocks and it's MOT time....and not looking too shabby!

Engine and frame back together on my Tiger....now just gotta button up the electrics, get a battery, oil and fuel and fire her up......

Down & Dirty

It was on Monday - the yellow peril got a maiden voyage (and many a crash - including taking out half a tree).....but my highlight was watching Tom somersault over the bars on hitting a snow drift........deserved I think after I made him wet himself all day with my constant crashing!

Our Andy's gone and got himself a wee KZ400 project......a bit more than a bit of spit and polish on this one - we'll make it cool tho!
